Millbo history
MILLBO S.p.A. is an independent, Italian based, limited company, originating from a family firm with more than 40 years of experience in the food and bakery business. The activity of Millbo is concentrated on the production of improvers and ingredients for bakeries, flour millers and biscuit manufactures as well as anyone involved in the baking industry.

Location
Millbo headquarters and production sites are located in Trecate near Novara, 35 Km west form Milano.
Trecate is easy reachable from highway Milano-Torino and is very near to both the airports of Milano, Linate and Malpensa International Airport. (Map)

Millbo has modern plants for the production of bakery dry mixes and improvers, patisserie dry mixes, malts and sour dough.


R&D
Millbo has a very active department of reserch and development.
The department is envolved in different scientific activities. A modern rheology laboratory linked to bread making facilities permits to analyse the behaviour of the ingredients starting from the dough, to finished products. A chemical laboratory is on the contrary involved in the analysis of the enzymes activities with spectrophotometry essays.

People who work in R&D are highly qualified and trained and their are constantly updated with the newest analysis tecniques and methods through regular training coursers which are carried on from AACC, Campden and Chorleywood and similars.
